First Social Cycle Ride

The first cycle ride has been booked for 11th October. The plan is to meet Mike & Derek at the Hursley Clubhouse, there is no need to book in advance, please just turn up on the day. They will set off at 10am and return to the clubhouse within 2 hours. This will be a relaxed, social ride with no special equipment needed. This is a chance to meet some of the team and other riders, possibly to find a cycling buddy for regular practice.

The intention is to make this a regular event on the 2nd Sunday of every month, keep an eye on the website for further details of upcoming rides.

Cycle rides coming soon

We’re planning to start meeting for regular practice cycle rides. They will start simple and gradually ramp up. With sufficient interest we will run 2 rides each time, a basic ride and an advanced ride to suit everyone. Keep an eye on the website for details if you would like to join us.

The BBQ went really well last weekend, and there is a lot of interest in our 2010 Project to cycle from Winchester to Gibraltar. Please Sign Up to our mailing list if you would like more information on the project, whether to cycle, take part in the medical research or to help us fund-raise.
