These rides are intended to provide an opportunity to mix with fellow Home-Rome riders and supplement your own training plan! We recommend that riders have experience of at least one 200km ride, as well as riding on three consecutive days, before setting off for Rome.
1. IL Training run – a great opportunity for Home-Rome riders to mix. Other riders are also very welcome. Where we’ve set two distances (to hopefully meet the needs of most riders) both rides start on the same route. We’ll run these rides regardless of rain but not if it’s icy!
2. GPX tracks will be made available in good time for our IL Training runs.
3. We start most rides from Hursley Club SO21 2JN. It is formally only open to club members and guests. However, law abiding citizens are seldom turned away; if challenged just say you were invited by Mike Spencer and you’re expecting him to turn-up soon! They serve good value food and drinks.
4. Risk: All riders participate at their own risk.
